Glockmeister Stainless Steel Recoil Assembly For Gen 4 G17, 22, 31, 34, 35 and 37
GEN4 17, 22, 31, 34, 35 & 37 ONLY!!!! WILL NOT FIT GEN5 17 / 34!!!!
Through extensive testing we have seen improved groupings and less perceived recoil compared to using the stock assembly. The stainless steel assembly will also provide increased reliability and ensures no breaking or cracking of the rod. ISMI recoil springs are used on this assembly. When choosing a spring please keep in mind that for most shooters using factory ammunition a stock weight spring will give you the best results. Using a heavier or lighter spring may result in the gun malfunctioning. Glockmeister will not accept rod returns if you purchase the incorrect spring weight.
Like all Glockmeister products this guide rod is made to the highest standards using the highest quality materials available. CNC machined here in the United States.
NOTE: THIS RSA WILL APPEAR BLACK FROM THE FRONT OF THE FIREARM.

|This recoil spring assembly is a superb choice for competition, duty, or any other use. I regularly compete in IDPA Stock Service Pistol division and shoot 3 Gun Nation matches with a Glock 34 9mm, which is what I installed this RSA in.
Glockmeisters recoil guide rod is the best fit that Ive found for Gen 4 Glocks. The back face of the rod that interfaces with the barrel is the correct diameter, unlike the majority of aftermarket guide rods on the market that are intended for Gen 3 guns. The smaller diameter of the Gen 3 recoil rod head does not allow it to seat properly against a Gen 4 barrel, and with use, will drag and wear on the bottom of the barrel.
The flexibility to change action spring force is very beneficial to tune in the pistols recoil cycle to your personal preference or preferred load. With the OEM dual-spring RSA, its difficult to achieve reliable function with lighter loads commonly used in competition. For example, a common load is a 147gr bullet moving at a leisurely 875 fps that makes the required minimum 125 power factor for competition. That load produces a lot less energy to operate the firearm than a 124gr bullet moving at 1000+ fps. As a result, the gun may malfunction with an insufficient grip. The 15# spring rated 2# lighter than OEM allows for good cycling with lighter loads without sacrificing feed reliability. In fact, I can run very hot 9mm +P+ and 9mm Major ammo with no issues. Brass ejected boisterously, but the slide was not outrunning the magazines ability to feed.
The only negative thing I have to point out about this product is the rough finish on the rod itself. It was noticeably rough and made a scrunching sound while cycling. I dont expect a high polish at this price point, but I do expect a finishing pass on the lathe to increase the surface finish quality. I would knock half a star off the rating for surface finish quality. That being said, this is probably the best option on the market for Gen 4 Glocks.
Im very happy with this product and highly recommend it for anyone looking to modify their pistols or replace an OEM assembly thats due for service. Buy with confidence!|
